The City of DeWitt offers economic development
incentives to attract new manufacturing facilities. All of the available sites
and buildings are located in an Enterprise Zone that provide additional benefits
for 10 years.
The Industrial sites are located in TIF districts that allow
financial incentives to be negotiated with each company. The amount of the
incentives is based on the number of new jobs and amount of investment in
the expansion.
The City of DeWitt is most willing to work with a company to accommodate
specific needs and is open to suggestions that benefits both the company
and the city. The City wants to establish an excellent working relationship
with each company.
